Samsung has released the specifications of the the sequel to one of the biggest smartphones of 2012, not just figuratively but also literally. The manufacturer of “The Next Big Thing” debuted the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which comes with a super large 5.7-inch HD display and runs on Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will hit stores in the United States on carriers later this year including; AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile. No pricing or specific availability date has been announced, however it could be just in time for the yuletide season. Unlike the previous model, the Galaxy Note 3 has a much thinner bezel, the back of the device has a leather material for a “more premium feel” and comes in Jet black, Blush Pink, and Classic White.

The tablet/smartphone hybrid also comes equipped with a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, it support WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, MHL 2.0, NFC (Near Field Communication), IR LED Remote Control and runs the Android 4.3 with Touchwiz UX. The Android 4.3-based Touchwiz software has been updated to support new features, including the ability to run two versions of the same app in Multi Window. Basically this means you can have two browsers open at the same time or two chat windows.
