In addition to the BlackBerry Z10 that was unveiled at the press event yesterday, Canadian smartphone manufacturer Research In Motion also announced its new BlackBerry Q10.
The new BlackBerry Q10 comes equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard and a 3.1-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display which makes it an ideal smartphone for users who prefers to have a physical keyboard on their device, rather than all touch.
The hardware specifications are pretty close to the Z10, it is powered by a 1.5GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage capacity with a microSD card slot that will support cards up to 64GB.
There’s an 8-megapixel camera on the rear of the handset with 1080p video recording, it features a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with 720p video recording, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Near Field Communication support.
The screen supports a 720×720 resolution at 330ppi, it measures 119.6 x 66.8 x 10.25mm and is slightly heavier than Z10 at 139g. We can expect to see the Q10, in black and white, hitting the store in April.
